Your Identity ?

The government talks about identity cards so that

they can know who we are. Yet the reality is that we

are often not sure of our identity ourselves!

Oh we know our name and our address - but: who am I on

the inside? who do I belong to? what will I be like in time to come?

If the truth be known, some us would probably like to change our

identity - "I wish I was him/her", "If only I had their looks or abilities
or spouse."

The Good News of Jesus is that I can find my true identity in him.

This does not detract from who I am at all. No, it frees me to be

totally who I was meant to be - satisfied. Jesus says "I have come

so that you may have life, and have it to the full".

Why not check Jesus out through one or more of our activities

listed opposite?

We consider our corporate identity as a church to be summed up

as "A Christian Community in God's World." You are always

welcome to join us.

May be you do not feel ready to join us: then why

 not read the books of Luke and John in the Bible to check out

Jesus? - it will not take you long. You can get a Bible in most

bookshops: but do make sure you get one in modern English.
